FAQ

How does the chair work?

Your body weight creates the balance. Fold the chair open, sit right into the corner and lean back. If you feel like you’re using your abs to stay upright, you’re probably doing it wrong.

Do you make other sizes?

No — one size fits all. We’ve had kids and adults up to 120 kg using the same chair comfortably. The chair moulds around your body as you sit, so it naturally adjusts to different shapes and sizes.

Can I strap it to a backpack?

Absolutely. It’s made for the outdoors. The chair folds up small and is lightweight enough to strap onto your hiking pack, so you can bring it along on longer hikes and multi-day trips.

Where would I use it?

Anywhere you want back support and don’t have it. Think picnics, the beach, hiking trips, sports days on the pavilion, or bar benches without backrests. We even use ours around a low table at home.

How much weight can it take?

Up to 120 kg.

Is it water-resistant?

Yes. The outer materials are water-resistant and quick-drying, and the closed-cell foam inside does not absorb water. That means you can use your pootuit on damp or wet ground without worrying about the inside soaking through.

Nothing in the chair will rust from normal water exposure. Just let it dry completely before folding it up and storing it away.

How do I clean it?

For everyday dirt, wipe it down with a damp cloth or sponge. For stubborn marks, dilute a small amount of Sunlight liquid in lukewarm water and use that to wipe the area clean. Allow it to dry completely before storing.

What is the warranty?

We offer a five-year warranty on manufacturing defects. If your pootuit is damaged through normal wear and tear, get in touch with us too. We’d much rather repair it than see it go to waste, and we’ll always try to help for a fair repair fee.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery typically takes 5–8 business days, depending on your location. Outlying areas may take a little longer.
